Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver in North Aurora to join a healthcare logistics team. You will drive a company vehicle, transport lab specimens, medical records, and supplies, and maintain accurate item tracking using a handheld scanner.

The role requires a 19+ driver with 3 years of driving experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and compliance with safety and drug screening. Training is provided and a fixed schedule is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related items.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transportation cycle and ensure accuracy.
• Follow all operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
