Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver in North Aurora, IL to support a healthcare logistics network. You will drive a company vehicle on a set schedule (Wednesday through Sunday 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), safely transport specimens and medical materials, and use a handheld scanner to track items.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ with an active driver's license for 3 years.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and walk/stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle, transporting lab specimens, records, and supplies.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Follow policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items safely, demonstrate courteous driving.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and keep vehicle clean.
• Handle varying routes and adapt to client needs.
• Collaborate with teammates and maintain team culture.
