Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Medical Driver in Elmhurst, IL. You will operate a company vehicle during Monday–Friday 6:00 PM–1:00 AM, delivering lab specimens, pharmaceuticals, and medical materials. An additional $1.00/hour applies after 10 PM; full benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service mindset and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and hand-held devices.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items and conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Demonstrate safe driving and adaptability across routes.
