MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Fairfax, VA. The role involves driving a company vehicle, transporting lab specimens and medical supplies, and coordinating routes. The position runs Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM with possible +/-1 hour adjustments; COVID vaccination may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Drive a non-commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items using appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe driving behavior and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
