Highmark Inc. is seeking a senior analytics professional to transform large medical cost data into clear strategic insights for cost-saving programs. You will extract and analyze data (SAS/SQL), develop outcomes measures, and present findings to executives.

Researchers will build dashboards and analytical stories to support program value, track outcomes, and identify opportunities. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed environment and requires strong communication

Formación

• 5 years of Medical Economics, Healthcare Analytics, Informatics and/or Actuarial Services in the health care payer sector
• Strong coding background (R, R Shiny, Python, SQL) and dashboard experience in Tableau, Power BI, or R Shiny
• Ability to present analytics clearly to executives with executive quality presentations
• Experience communicating outcomes and partnering on analytics with business stakeholders
• Knowledge of HIPAA/data security practices and healthcare industry trends (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic/tactical insights into emerging medical cost trends and develop executive-ready presentations
• Extract, summarize and analyze large datasets using SAS, SQL or similar tools
• Coordinate savings projections and post-implementation savings measurements; improve business case development
• Drive independent medical cost analytics and present insights into cost drivers to partners
• Communicate findings clearly to business partners and senior leadership
• Collaborate with other departments to develop comprehensive analytical narratives
