Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is looking for a Content Editing Associate in a hybrid role with 8 office days per month. The position supports an editorial team, demanding excellent proofreading, organization, and time management in a fast-paced medical content environment.

You will work with deputy editors, coordinate with authors and reviewers, and manage content through the full editorial cycle, ensuring accuracy and adherence to style guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent proofreading, communication, time management, and organization skills.
• Editorial experience is a plus, but not necessary.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with physician deputy editors to drive progress in an assigned medical specialty.
• Maintain frequent contact with external authors, editors, and peer reviewers.
• Document content developments and workflows in the databases.
• Process content through the editorial workflow: styling, formatting, and coordinating with Graphics and Permissions teams.
• Coordinate with external contributors, set deadlines, and follow up for timely responses.
• Incorporate contributor revisions for specialty deputy editors to review.
• Proofread, verify links/references, and ensure content aligns with UpToDate style guidelines.
