Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Content Editing Associate in Philadelphia to support acquisitions editorial teams and cross-functional groups. The role involves learning medical reference publishing models, maintaining product documentation, and assisting in research and SOP implementation.

The position offers hybrid work with 2 days on-site at 2005 Market St, Two Commerce Square, Philadelphia, and a 30-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and understanding of general project management practices.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables.
• Analytical, data-driven decision making.
• Ability to manage day-to-day tasks independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and communicate project schedules, track deliverables, coordinate cross-functional meetings, and regularly report status to team via meeting notes documents and Confluence.
• Process contracts, including coordination of signatures and set-up of product records in internal systems in coordination with royalty dept; coordinate with authors, subject matter experts, and vendors for setup in payment portal.
• Process invoices and follow up with contractors and accounts payable to ensure timely payments.
• Track spending against line-items in budgets using spreadsheet software and coordinate with the full team; create, review, and update SOP documentation.
• Utilize internal systems for product record creation, maintenance, pricing, contracts, and availability across sales channels.
• Coordinate maintenance spreadsheets and work with outside vendors on assessment review/update.
• Attend and contribute to editorial meetings, coordinate schedules for group meetings, and follow up on action items.
• Assist team with research initiatives, defining priorities, drafting, deploying, and managing surveys, coordinating interviews, and analyzing results.
