Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in medical coding, billing, health information, or revenue cycle management.
• Ability to deliver instruction on ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, E/M coding, revenue cycle management, HIPAA compliance.
• Prepare and maintain lesson plans, instructional materials, assessments, and hands‑on activities.
• Support students in exam preparation and workforce readiness.
• Track student attendance, progress and completion per program and grant requirements.
• Maintain current knowledge of healthcare regulations, coding updates and industry changes.
• Collaborate with program staff on curriculum updates, scheduling, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum for educational projects including continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, and other special training projects, as well as international programs.
• Deliver instruction for a variety of educational projects including continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, and other special training projects, as well as international programs.
• Complete documentation including grades, etc., as required by the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned
