Job summary

CH and Trinity, P.C. in Buffalo, NY seeks a Professional Medical Coding Educator Auditor HCS for a full-time role. You will work with CH coding staff, clinicians, and management to ensure accurate, compliant coding and data integrity for billing and outcomes.

Responsibilities include audits, education on quarterly coding updates, mentoring for staff, and supporting coding standardization across Epic and other EHR systems. Travel to multiple sites is possible.

Qualifications

• CPC, COC, RHIT, CCS or CCS-P is required
• CPMA required
• Minimum of three (3) years of multi- specialty coding experience utilizing electronic encoders following CPT coding guidelines and related resources

Responsibilities

• The Auditor/Educator will monitor accuracy and perform audits using Intelicode or other appropriate software of coded data based on documentation in the medical record.
• Provide timely education and feedback on quarterly coding updates to Clinicians, Coding and CDI staff.
• Lead designated projects and mentor the Coding Team.
• Travel to multiple sites to collaborate with Clinic Manager, physicians and Educator/Analyst as required.
