Job summary

RevCycleAce LLC in Delhi, OH is hiring a Medical Coder for a full-time, on-site role. You will assign accurate codes (ICD/CPT/HCPCS) by reviewing clinical documentation and abstracting essential data from medical records, ensuring compliant coding and timely claims submission.

Candidates should have strong Medical Coding knowledge, familiarity with EHR systems, and attention to detail. RHIT or equivalent certification is preferred, with understanding of HIPAA and payer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong Medical Coding knowledge including ICD, CPT and HCPCS.
• Knowledge of Health Information Management practices and documentation standards.
• Understanding of Medical Terminology and clinical concepts relevant to coding.
• Eligible for RHIT or equivalent certifications.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret provider documentation.
• Proficient with EHRs and coding/billing software, plus basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clinical and administrative teams.
• Experience with payer guidelines and HIPAA compliance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation and assign accurate and compliant codes.
• Abstract relevant information from medical records for coding.
• Validate documentation to support coded data and enter codes into billing/HIS.
• Collaborate with providers and billing staff to clarify documentation and reduce errors.
• Support timely claims submission and monitor coding updates.
• Follow payer and regulatory requirements and participate in quality audits as needed.
