CVS Health in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring for a Claims Intake Processing Representative to review claim documentation, verify coverage, and ensure accurate processing. This on-site role supports mail handling, data entry, and collaboration with providers and policyholders to meet service levels.

The position requires basic office software skills, ability to lift 20–35 lbs, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
• Must be able to lift 20 - 35 pounds.
• Ability to pay very close attention to detail.
• Must be able to access multiple systems online.
• Ability to reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop, and walk.
• Understand modern office practices, procedures, and equipment.
• Ability to work as a team member, but also independently at times with limited direction.
• Successful at working in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain flexibility and/or the ability to work overtime as needed to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Sort interoffice and regular mail by department.
• Opening and extracting, copying, taping down the items within the envelope.
• Scanning in the mail in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Printing letters and stuffing envelopes.
• Operate mailroom equipment, including mail slicing machine, scanners, printers, envelope openers.
• Maintain integrity of claims receipts in accordance with standard claims operating and adjudication procedures.
• Meet turnaround times to support client performance guarantees for claims processing.
