Job summary

CCMSI is hiring a Claim Assistant in Phoenix, AZ to support a fast-paced claims team. This role focuses on clerical tasks, accurate file setup, and diary management to ensure smooth processing of high-volume claims.

The ideal candidate brings strong organization, attention to detail, and reliable performance in a team environment. The position offers on-site work hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm MST, with a salary range of $23–$25 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and capable of handling high-volume clerical work.
• Excellent organization to maintain multiple files and diaries.
• Strong communication, both oral and written.
• Ability to operate general office equipment and multitask across systems.

Responsibilities

• Activate new claims and set up files accurately in the system.
• Summarize correspondence and medical records in log notes.
• Request medical records and bills from providers.
• Review and maintain diaries in the claim system.
• Redact files for third parties.
