Job summary

ProMD Medical Billing seeks a Charge Poster Specialist with at least 1 year of experience. You will translate physician notes into accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes, ensuring coding guidelines are followed across multiple PM/EMR systems.

The role requires proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS with a CPC preferred. You will interact with physician offices, maintain accurate coding, and support timely claims processing within our benefits-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Medical Charge Poster (coder).
• Proficient with ICD-10 and coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic and procedural phrases into coded form by locating appropriate codes.

Job Description: Candidate must have minimum of 1 year experience as Medical Charge Poster (coder); Need to be proficient with ICD-10 and coding guidelines. Good benefits; paid vacation, paid holidays, medical insurance, 401K with employer contribution, flexible morning start time. CPC preferred. Requirements and/or Responsibilities as a Charge Poster Specialist:

• Enthusiastic, success-driven business professional with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to develop and maintain business relationships with physician offices
• Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic and procedural phrases used by healthcare providers into coded form by locating such codes utilizing the coding manuals or software.
• In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
