Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks a Medical Business Office Trainer to lead curriculum development and training for the business office team. Under the Business Office Manager, you will act as the technical expert for office functions and trainer in a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with management to write curricula, conduct trainer-led sessions, and update policies as needed to keep material relevant and compliant across multiple ambulatory surgery centers within the Kansas City metro area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• One to three years’ experience in a physician’s office, clinic or hospital setting strongly preferred; understanding of patient flow and ambulatory surgery center operations strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the responsibilities associated with each role in the business office
• You will work closely with management to develop a structured training and orientation program by writing curriculum and creating course materials
• You will conduct training and train-the-trainer sessions with employees to ensure material is relevant and implemented effectively
• You will assist in creation of new policies and procedures and/or update existing policies and procedures as necessary
• You are responsible for communicating process updates, schedule adjustments, and other feedback to the business office team

At the Surgery Ventures Central Business Office in MidAmerica, we support financial and patient care operations of 10 ambulatory surgery centers across the Kansas City Metro. Staff are assigned to work with one or more surgery centers via remote, in office and hybrid working environments.
