Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Business Office Trainer to lead the insurance verifications team, under the Business Office Manager. You will develop a structured training program, write curriculum, and ensure material is applied effectively to improve operations.

You will communicate process updates, collaborate with management, and help create new policies to optimize workflow in the business office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1–3 years' experience in a physician's office, clinic or hospital setting preferred.
• Understanding of patient flow and ambulatory surgery center operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train the insurance verifications team under the Business Office Manager.
• Develop a structured training and orientation program; write curriculum and materials.
• Conduct training and train-the-trainer sessions to ensure material is effective.
• Assist in creation or update of policies and procedures as needed.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Business Office Trainer, you will contribute to the company’s mission, vision, and values by providing leadership and a positive environment for the business office team. Under guidance of the Business Office Manager, you will serve as the technical expert with regard to office functions and training for the insurance verifications team.

What you will do in this role:

• You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the responsibilities associated with the insurance verifications role in the business office
• You will work closely with management to develop a structured training and orientation program by writing curriculum and creating course materials
• You will conduct training and train-the-trainer sessions with employees to ensure material is relevant and implemented effectively
• You will assist in creation of new policies and procedures and/or update existing policies and procedures as necessary
• You are responsible for communicating process updates, schedule adjustments, and other feedback to the business office team

Qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• One to three years' experience working in a physician's office, clinic or hospital setting strongly preferred
• Understanding of patient flow and ambulatory surgery center operations strongly preferred
