Concentra, Inc. is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to handle on-site in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on timely, accurate medical billing, reconciliation of discrepancies, and client invoicing for our employer clients.

Requires strong communication, organization, and HIPAA compliance. 1st shift, full-time, onsite at Sky Harbor Circle Phoenix. You will process billing, state reports, client bills with special arrangements, monitor holds and indexing reports, and assist clients with billing

Qualifications

• Education as stated: high school diploma or GED; some college or training in medical billing.
• 2+ years in medical billing with CPT/ICD-9/HCPCS knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities; HIPAA privacy awareness.

Responsibilities

• Process all billing and state reports as required by states.
• Process client bills with special billing arrangements.
• Monitor transcription hold, indexing, and EDI billing reports.
• Provide assistance to clients with special billing requests.
• Review bills for accuracy following guidelines to ensure timely payments.
• Support other Central Billing Office tasks as needed.
