Job summary

Five Star Solutions is seeking a Medical Billing Customer Service Representative to assist patients with billing questions via phone, providing clear account information and compassionate service.

This remote position supports patients across the United States, with hours 9:00am–6:00pm EST, Mon–Fri. Paid training, full-time status, and a shift differential apply to night and weekend hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls regarding patient statements, insurance payments, and account balances.
• Provide accurate information about patient accounts, billing history, and charges.
• Process credit card payments over the phone.
• Document call details, account inquiries, and actions taken.
• Escalate complex billing disputes and concerns to the appropriate department.
• Deliver friendly, professional service while handling sensitive billing questions.

This is a remote position for individuals living in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

Shift differential(extra $1/hr nights & wkds)

Work hours - 9:00am-6:00pm (EST) ; Work Days - Mon-Fri

Paid Training - typically 1 week in length from 9:00am-6:00pm (EST)

Status - Full Time 40 hours
