Job summary

Five Star Solutions is hiring a Medical Billing Customer Service Representative to guide patients through billing questions with professionalism and care. This remote role serves residents across multiple states, including Indiana, with a 9:00am–6:00pm EST schedule and a $14/hour base rate, plus a $1 night/weekend differential.

Training is paid and full-time (40 hours). The role emphasizes accurate documentation, calm handling of sensitive inquiries, and delivering high-quality customer service

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls regarding patient statements, insurance payments, and account balances.
• Provide accurate information about patient accounts, billing history, and charges.
• Process credit card payments over the phone.
• Document call details, account inquiries, and actions taken.
• Escalate complex billing disputes and concerns to the appropriate department.
• Deliver friendly, professional service while handling sensitive billing questions.

This is a remote position for individuals living in the states of: Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

$14 - $14 an hour

Shift differential(extra $1/hr nights & wkds)

Work hours - 9:00am-6:00pm (EST) ; Work Days - Mon-Fri

Paid Training - typically 1 week in length from 9:00am-6:00pm (EST)

Status - Full Time 40 hours
