Job summary

Five Star Solutions is seeking a Medical Billing Customer Service Representative to guide patients through billing questions with professionalism and care. You will answer calls, explain statements and payments, and ensure accurate documentation, while maintaining empathy and accuracy.

The role is fully remote for residents of the listed states, with 9:00am–6:00pm (EST) hours, Mon-Fri. Paid training and a 40-hour work week are provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls regarding patient statements, insurance payments, and account balances.
• Provide accurate information about patient accounts, billing history, and charges.
• Process credit card payments over the phone.
• Document call details, account inquiries, and actions taken.
• Escalate complex billing disputes and concerns to the appropriate department.
• Deliver friendly, professional service while handling sensitive billing questions.

This is a remote position for individuals living in the states of: Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

$14 - $14 an hour

Shift differential(extra $1/hr nights & wkds)

Work hours - 9:00am-6:00pm (EST) ; Work Days - Mon-Fri

Paid Training - typically 1 week in length from 9:00am-6:00pm (EST)

Status - Full Time 40 hours
