Five Star Solutions is seeking a Medical Billing Customer Service Representative to help patients navigate billing questions with professionalism, patience, and care. This role emphasizes clear communication and precise documentation while delivering friendly service.

The position is remote for residents of the United States, including Wisconsin. Training is provided, with hours 9:00am-6:00pm EST, Monday to Friday, and a $1/hr differential for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls regarding patient statements, insurance payments, and account balances.
• Provide accurate information about patient accounts, billing history, and charges.
• Process credit card payments over the phone.
• Document call details, account inquiries, and actions taken.
• Escalate complex billing disputes and concerns to the appropriate department.
• Deliver friendly, professional service while handling sensitive billing questions.

This is a remote position for individuals living in the states of: Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

$14 - $14 an hour

Shift differential(extra $1/hr nights & wkds)

Work hours - 9:00am-6:00pm (EST) ; Work Days - Mon-Fri

Paid Training - typically 1 week in length from 9:00am-6:00pm (EST)

Status - Full Time 40 hours
