Qualifications

• 2+ years of ASC or Hospital revenue cycle or collections experience.
• Ability to read and interpret insurance explanations of benefits and managed care contracts.
• Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform all billing and collection duties on patient accounts.
• Conduct chart analysis, abstracting, audits, and coding as part of Medical Records duties.
• Prepare and respond to correspondence and records for release of patient information.
• Ensure knowledge of current coding policy and confidentiality requirements.
