Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking an Account Collector Representative to manage patient accounts and ensure timely reimbursement across our ambulatory centers. This role emphasizes accuracy, courtesy, and strong collections experience.

You will work with insurance companies and patients, leverage EMR/EHR systems, and collaborate with the billing team to streamline processes and improve revenue cycle performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare collections experience.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely follow-up on outstanding patient accounts.
• Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and third-party payers to resolve billing issues.
• Review AR reports to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize billing software and EMR systems to track payments and update patient records.
• Collaborate with the billing team to streamline processes and improve revenue cycle performance.
