Qualifications

• Two years of billing experience or an Associate’s Degree with one year of experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding; experience with CMS/COM billing rules.
• Experience with Powerchart and Intergy EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inputs entries of related charges for Internal Medicine and OB/GYN.
• Ensures billing information aligns with CMS and COM methods.
• Enters payments and posts payments electronically via CPS PM.
• Evaluates ICD-10 and CPT coding prior to billing; seeks physician clarification.
• Completes outstanding accounts receivable and inquires on denials.
• Ensures accuracy of weekly deposits.
• Assesses Episodes of Care for errors and omissions.
