Formación

• RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification or CCA credential with 3–5 years hospital coding experience.
• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding guidelines.
• Experience with coding audits and documentation improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Review electronic medical records to assign ICD-10-CM diagnosis and CPT procedure codes.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency with CMS guidelines and payor requirements.
• Identify documentation opportunities and complete physician queries as needed.
• Enter charges into billing systems and respond to coding audits and denials.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and ongoing education.
