We are a small, established psychiatry practice seeking an experienced and self-motivated Medical Biller / Office Coordinator to join our team. This is a 30-hour-per-week position with the flexibility of primarily remote work and approximately one day per week in our office.
Our practice consists of one psychiatrist and one physician assistant. We have two full-time virtual assistants who handle patient calls, referrals, pharmacy communication, scheduling-related communication, and virtual check-in. This allows the person in this role to focus primarily on medical billing, insurance-related tasks, accounts receivable, and practice operations rather than serving as a traditional front-desk receptionist.
We are looking for someone who is experienced, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their responsibilities, identify issues before they become problems, and be able to manage their workload without extensive day-to-day supervision.
