Medical Biller (Hybrid) *Hybrid Schedule* | 2 Days Onsite, 3 Days Remote

Join a Growing Healthcare Revenue Cycle Team We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced *Medical Biller* to join our healthcare operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about ensuring accurate billing and reimbursement processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of insurance billing, accounts receivable management, and claim follow-up procedures, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage medical billing activities for hospital and healthcare services
  • Post insurance payments accurately to open accounts receivable balances
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies through payer follow-up
  • Review, process, and track insurance refunds in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor claim status through payer portals and direct communication with insurance carriers
  • Work denials and aging accounts receivable to maximize reimbursement
  • Maintain a strong understanding of payer guidelines, billing regulations, and reimbursement policies
  • Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting productivity and quality expectations
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Experience with hospital billing

Working knowledge of:

  • Medicare
  • Medicaid
  • Commercial insurance plans

Experience with:

  • Insurance denials management
  • Accounts receivable follow‑up
  • Claims status review and resolution
  • Payment posting

Ability to:

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
