Job summary

Maplewood Career Center seeks a Medical Assisting Instructor to teach technical medical knowledge at the high school level and to instill work ethic and life skills that prepare students for employment in the medical field. The role includes involvement with SkillsUSA and coordinating activities beyond the classroom.

The position requires an associate degree or higher in the medical field, 5+ years of medical experience, or an Ohio teaching license for Medical Assisting.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

SALARY

Placement on the teachers' salary schedule will be based on education, work and teaching experience. The minimum starting pay will be $53,494. The contract consists of 188 days for the first year and 184 days thereafter.
