MUST MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA TO QUALIFY:

• 5 years of experience in the Firefighter and EMT field
• Advanced degree in EMT with 3 years of experience in the field

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Teach technical knowledge and skills related to the Firefighter and EMT career field.
2. Provide instruction in the areas of work ethic and life skills which will lead to employment in the Firefighter and EMT career field

SALARY: Placement on the teachers' salary schedule will be based on education, work and teaching experience. The minimum starting salary will exceed $56,800 and is based on experience in the Firefighter and EMT field. The contract consists of 188 days for the first year and 184 days thereafter.
