Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or registration required or within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-visit work, obtain vital signs, reconcile medications and assist providers with exams.
• Prepare instruments for sterilization and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Respond to patient portal messages same day.
• Complete pre-visit work, vaccinate, and process prescriptions.
• Schedule pre-admission and diagnostic testing and follow up calls.
• Handle front-d desk duties: greeting, scheduling, phone calls, patient charting, billing tasks.
• Adhere to Core Physicians policies, confidentiality, safety and infection control.
• May scribe, document encounters, and place orders as directed by provider.
• Monitor care team metrics and participate in daily huddles.
• Provide coverage for other Core Offices when needed.
