Job summary

CareSpot in Ocala, FL is hiring a Medical Assistant to support providers with exams, procedures, triage, and patient care. You will measure vitals, draw blood, collect specimens, and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.

You’ll also check patients in/out, verify insurance, and collect payments as part of daily workflows. The ideal candidate has MA/EMT/Paramedic training or CMA/RMA certification, or CNA with phlebotomy experience, and 6 months of relevant work history in healthcare settings

Qualifications

• Graduation from MA/EMT/Paramedic or relevant program or active RMA/CMA designation.
• Or 6 months of MA/related experience, or licensed CNA with phlebotomy experience.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred (ER, urgent care, ambulatory).

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients and measuring vitals.
• Assisting providers with exams and procedures.
• Drawing blood and collecting specimens.
• Administering medications and immunizations under supervision.
• Preparing rooms and checking patients in/out, verifying insurance.
