Qualifications

• Must obtain Medical Assistant credentials within 18 months of hire date.
• Six months clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs rooming and intake including vital signs and patient data collection.
• Assists the provider during treatments, examinations, and procedures.
• Collects specimens and performs phlebotomy.
• Provides patient with after-visit, follow-up, self-care or procedural instructions and/or educational materials.
• Prepares, cleans, stocks and maintains exam and treatment rooms.
• Assists with patient registration, check in/check out, appointment scheduling, and scheduling of tests and referrals.
