Job summary

Marana Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor to lead the MA team at the Marana Main Health Center, AZ. You will oversee MA workflows, coordinate schedules, and mentor staff to ensure high-quality patient care across primary and specialty services.

The role requires MA credentialing (CMA/RMA), EMR experience, BLS/First Aid, and a valid Arizona license with clean driving record. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of MA experience.
• Graduate of ABHES/CAAHEP MA program or equivalent.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Current CMA or RMA certification.
• BLS certificate ( MH can train).
• First Aid certificate ( MH can train).
• Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ).
• Valid AZ driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight of MA functions and clinical support workflows.
• Coordinate MA schedules and staffing across sites.
• Ensure orientation, mentoring, competency validation, and ongoing training for MA staff.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as liaison between clinicians and MA team.
• Lead or participate in committees and quality initiatives.
• Maintain patient care documentation and EMR system usage.
