Job summary

Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH is seeking Medical Assistants to support providers in patient care, including examinations, rooming, vital signs, specimen collection, and basic testing. CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred; BLS within 90 days; 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required for MA I/II
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment preferred
• CMA, RMA or CCMA preferred for certification/licensure

Responsibilities

• Assists providers in patient care, examinations, diagnostic studies, treatments, and dressing changes.
• Performs visit chart preparation with tests, reports, and summaries for provider access.
• Rooms patients, records vital signs, allergies, medications, and health history.
• Obtains measurements and conducts hearing, vision, ECG, and screening procedures.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing; conducts venipuncture as needed.
• Administers medications and immunizations per guidelines; processes prescriptions and prior authorizations.
• Manages clinical supplies and maintains stock, labeling, and par levels.
