Job summary

Elliot Health System in Manchester, NH is seeking Medical Assistants I and II to support patient care in our clinics. You will assist providers, perform rooming, vital signs, specimen collection, screening, and basic testing, while following CLIA and JCAHO standards.

Full-time, day shift; CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred with BLS within 90 days. Benefits include health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and a 403(b) plan.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required and MA training pathway options listed.
• MA Education options include accredited program or externship.
• 1 year of relevant healthcare experience acceptable.
• CMA, RMA or CCMA certification preferred; BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care in assigned clinical areas.
• Perform rooming activities and document vital signs and history.
• Obtain and document measurements and conduct basic screenings.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing per policies.
• Administer medications and manage prescription refills per guidelines.
• Handle prior authorizations and maintain supplies and stock.
