Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient care, charting, and patient flow in a busy NJ clinic. The role includes preparing exam rooms, handling specimens, and assisting with various procedures in accordance with state law.

The ideal candidate will have a MA diploma or equivalent coursework, at least one year of medical office experience, and proficiency with EHR systems. Travel is not a major component of this position. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Medical assistant diploma from an accredited institution, or coursework in medical assisting.
• Certificate indicating passing grade for specialty department if applicable (e.g., pediatric MA).
• Minimum one year of recent medical facility experience as a MA or externship in a medical office.
• Experience with EKG, vital signs, venipuncture, injections, patient charting.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and charting.
• Set up and clean exam rooms; maintain infection control and prepare supplies.
• Support patient flow and scheduling; provide patient information and directions.
• Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, specimen collection, and basic procedures as allowed by state law.
• Handle environmental and administrative duties as assigned.
