Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide both administrative and clinical support across its clinics. You will work independently and as part of a team, handling calls, scheduling, chart preparation, patient check-in, vital signs and room setup to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires a High School diploma or MA certification, with preference for certified MAs and at least 1 year of experience. Proficiency with EMR systems and OSHA training is expected.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant degree/certificate from an accredited program preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle administrative tasks: answer incoming calls, schedule appointments and reschedule as needed.
• Distribute patient records to medical staff and prep new patient charts.
• Ensure accurate medical information is available for review.
• Process outgoing patient referrals and collect copayments.
• Schedule procedures and tests using the EMR system and obtain insurance authorizations.
• Prepare examination rooms and stock supplies, assist physicians as needed.
• Record vital signs and assist with office procedures as a second pair of hands.
