Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support across clinics.

The role requires independent work and teamwork, with duties ranging from phone triage and appointment scheduling to patient chart preparation, vital signs, and procedural assistance. The candidate should have a Medical Assistant credential or coursework, at least one year of experience, and may travel to other clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant degree from an accredited vocational institution, or a community college course in Medical Assisting.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.
• Certified in Medical Assisting strongly preferred.
• Travel to other clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments; manage patient requests.
• Distribute patient records to medical staff and prep new patient charts.
• Obtain vital signs and document in EMR; assist physician with procedures.
• Obtain surgical and diagnostic insurance authorizations.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure supplies are stocked and clean.
• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms; collect copays when applicable.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and complete required trainings.
