Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners in New York is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide both administrative and clinical support across clinics. The role requires independence and teamwork, with attention to accurate records and patient flow.

Responsibilities include caller handling, scheduling, coordinating referrals, preparing exam rooms, taking vitals, and assisting physicians while maintaining OSHA standards. Travel to other clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant degree/cocallege course required or preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient requests.
• Process referrals, collect copays, and verify insurance.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and assist with procedures.
• Record patient vitals in EMR and assist physicians as needed.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and participate in required trainings.
• Greet patients and escort to appropriate rooms for visits.
