Job summary

USA Clinics Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient office workflow while supporting physicians before, during, and after procedures, ensuring an excellent service experience.

Location-based clinics include Southampton, Philadelphia (Bustleton Ave), and Trenton. Compensation ranges from $23 to $26 per hour with bilingual English/Spanish required, and a focus on patient-centric care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience in a medical setting is required.
• Experience with vital signs, rooming patients, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Completion of MA training and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing experience in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

Position Summary:

In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent,required.
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician),required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.
