Job summary

USA Vein Clinics is hiring a Medical Assistant in Tinton Falls, NJ. Balance patient care with efficient office workflow and provide support to physicians before, during, and after procedures to ensure an excellent service experience.

The role requires 2-5 years of hands-on clinical experience, a Medical Assistant training program, and certification where applicable. Fluent Spanish and English are required, with on-site schedule Mon-Wed 8-4 and compensation between $21–$25 per hour, plus paid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role required.
• Fluency in Spanish & English required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, and specimen collection as trained.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information in EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing high volume in a fast-paced clinic.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms (Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar).
• Support patient care within various healthcare settings including physician offices, clinics, urgent care, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Wednesday (8-4pm)

• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 2-5 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required.
• Fluency in Spanish & English required.
