Allegheny Health Network seeks a Medical Assistant to coordinate patient care under the supervision of the health care provider. You will prepare exam rooms, obtain vital signs, review medications and patient history, and support with wellness visits and screenings.

Responsibilities include back office testing, assisting providers with procedures, potential scribal duties, and accurate EHR documentation, with possible travel between AHN locations as needed.

Qualificações

• Minimum: High School / GED or completion of a Medical Assistant program.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in coordinating patient care under supervision of the health care provider.
• Prepares and rooms patients and obtains vital signs, history, tobacco and medication screening; may assist with depression screening and wellness visits.
• Performs back office testing and assists providers with examinations and procedures.
• May serve as a scribe with additional training and documents in the EHR.
