You will prepare patients, record vitals and histories, assist with procedures, and document in the EHR. Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED or completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
• Certification must be completed within 120 days of hire if criteria are met.
• Accepted Medical Assistant Certification options: NHA, AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association) required.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate patient care under supervision using a team-based approach.
• Prepare and room patients; obtain vitals, document history, tobacco and medication screening.
• Perform back-office testing following AHN protocols and policies.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures; may serve as a scribe with training.
• Document accurately in the EHR and handle clerical duties; may travel between AHN locations.
