Allegheny Health Network in Pennsylvania seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and patient care under supervision. You will room patients, take vital signs, document history, and assist with procedures following AHN protocols.

Responsibilities include accurate EHR entries, medication reconciliation, and coordinating care plans with the healthcare team. Certification within 120 days is required if not already certified; CPR and clearances are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification via a recognized MA credential or plan to obtain within 120 days.

Responsabilités

• Assists in coordinating patient care under supervision of the provider.
• Rooms patients, takes vital signs, documents history and screenings.
• Performs back office testing and assists with examinations and procedures.
• Documents in the EHR and maintains appropriate inventory.
• May serve as a scribe with training and may float between locations.
