Atrium Health in High Point, NC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support exam preparation, lab procedures, and physician/APP assistance. You will administer medications per orders, coordinate referrals, and maintain clear communication with the patient and health care team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program and BLS certification, with 1 year of experience preferred. On-site position with sign-on eligibility.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for exams, obtain vitals and record info.
• Perform routine lab procedures with aseptic technique.
• Assist physician/APP with procedures (pelvic exams, etc.).
• Administer routine medications under orders or protocols.
• Execute referrals and coordinate follow-ups as directed.
• Communicate with care team to ensure smooth clinic flow.
• Support basic/advanced clinical tasks under supervision.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and education.
