Job summary

HonorHealth in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide front and back office support in the Primary Care-Apache Junction clinic. You will escort patients, prepare exam rooms, take vital signs and assist providers with exams and procedures.

This role requires completion of an MA training program, a High School Diploma or GED, BLS, and MA certification. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:45 am–4:45 pm, with a sign-on bonus up to $2,500 and certification reimbursement options.

Qualifications

• Completion of a MA training program is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/CCMA/RMA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide front and back office support.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain brief histories.
• Take vital signs and assist with exams and procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and basic CLIA-waived lab tests.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records and referrals.
