Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant for the West Tempe Primary Care Clinic located at 1626 S. Priest Dr., Tempe, AZ 85281. Qualifications

• Completion of a MA training program – Required
• High School Diploma or GED – Required
• 6 months experience as a Medical Assistant – Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Fingerprint Clearance Card – Required

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment rooms and escorts patients to exam rooms.
• Performs front and back office duties including receptionist and scheduling.
• Assists providers during examinations and procedures.
• Collects specimens and performs CLIA-waived tests as directed.
• Maintains patient records and ensures accurate charting.
