Job summary

HonorHealth in Scottsdale is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Mescal Primary Care Clinic. The role provides front and back office support, escorts patients to exam rooms and maintains accurate records in a team-based setting.

The MA will take vital signs, assist clinicians with exams, perform injections and phlebotomy, and manage scheduling and communications with insurers. A 2,500 sign-on bonus is offered and eligibility for certification reimbursement is available.

Qualifications

• Completion of a MA training program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience as Medical Assistant preferred.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• BLS certification required.
• MA certification (CMA/CCMA/RMA) preferred; HonorHealth reimburses exam.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients and escorts to exam areas.
• Takes vital signs and documents chief complaints.
• Administers injections and performs phlebotomy under physician order.
• Performs front desk duties including reception, scheduling and chart maintenance.
• Coordinates with insurance for authorizations and referrals.
