Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current Medical Assistant certification or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment.

• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties within the scope of a Medical Assistant's practice under supervision.
• Assists physicians and nursing personnel and prepares exam and treatment rooms.
• Records patient care documentation accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians and company policies.
• Supports infection control, privacy, and confidentiality.
