Job summary

Arizona Kidney Disease & Hypertension Center (AKDHC) in Scottsdale is hiring for multiple Medical Assistant roles across its Osborn and Pima offices. Roles include Front Office bilingual MAs and Back Office MAs, plus Patient Care Coordinator/MAs.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Fluent capabilities in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish and English for some roles.
• 1–2 years of clinical medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with EMR systems and common clinical and office equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care including rooming patients, taking vital signs, injections, urine tests, and assisting with anemia and iron management.
• Coordinate procedures and diagnostic testing including specimen collection and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR and communicate with providers.
• Manage scheduling, recalls, referrals, and care coordination to support treatment plans.
• Support clinic operations including medical records, inventory, HIPAA compliance, and cross-location collaboration.
