Arizona Kidney Disease & Hypertension Center (AKDHC) in Goodyear/Buckeye offices is seeking a Medical Assistant for a travel position. This role offers exposure across multiple clinics and a strong patient-care focus.

You will room patients, take vitals, assist with procedures, manage charting in the EMR, and support coordination across locations. Eligible candidates receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 1–2 years of clinical medical assistant experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with EMR systems and common clinical/office equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multitask.

Aufgaben

• Providing hands-on patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, administering injections, performing urine testing, assisting with anemia and iron management, and supporting patient education.
• Coordinating clinical procedures and diagnostic testing, including specimen collection, blood pressure monitoring, scheduling, and follow-up care.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation within the EMR and communicating important patient updates to providers.
• Managing patient scheduling, recalls, referrals, and care coordination to help patients stay on track with treatment plans.
• Supporting clinic operations through medical records management, inventory control, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with team members across multiple locations.
